Ed Choy, Senior Pastor

Ed grew up in Montgomery County, MD. In 10th grade he moved to Atlanta, GA, where he finished high school. After living a godless life his relationship with Jesus was restored on May 1st, 1996!

Ed’s education includes a Bachelors of Science from Tennessee Temple University, Masters in Divinity and Masters of Theology from Capital Bible Seminary, and Doctorate of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary.

Laura was Ed’s college sweetheart! They were married May 26, 2001 and have three boys and a girl — Elijah, Ephram, Emet, and Karis.

Ed served at the Chinese Christian Church of Greater Washington D.C. as youth pastor from 2002-2009. Then as one of the pastors at the Chinese Christian Church of Germantown, MD where he served until August 2014.

In his free time Ed enjoys sports, especially football (GO COMMANDERS/Dawgs/Terps), health & fitness, being outdoors, percussion, music, reading, Apple/Mac, and doing just about anything with his family.
